Electric Hair Clippers

Which Electric Hair Clipper Is Right For You?

There are many different types of electric hair clippers, so here is some information in helping you decide which direction you want to go.

Electric hair trimmers are going to cost anywhere between $25 - $130 depending on what you are wanting to do.  Obviously, if you cut hair professionally, you are going to be paying more for a high quality hair clipper vs. if you're cutting your families hair.

Based on our experience, as well as what other poeple have told us, here are our top electric hair trimmers, in no particular order:

The Wahl Deluxe Chrome Pro 27-Piece Complete Haircut Kit has all the tools you need to make haircutting at home easier than ever. Perfect for total body grooming, this haircut kit is used by a wide variety of people for their haircutting needs, including professional cyclists, swimmers, and other athletes to trim body hair.

This is good electric clipper for the money. Although, it's heavier than most, it definetely gets the job done!

The Andis Promotor clipper is engineered with a unique pivot motor which provides 4 times the power and is 20% lighter than a conventional magnetic motor clipper. The extra power makes this clipper especially effective at cutting wet or damp hair in addition to cutting dry hair. This clipper comes as part of a 20 piece at home kit.

From our test, this is a good clipper, but I've had other customers say they are not too happy with it.  It doesn't last as long as something like the Oster Classic 76, but it get's the job done.

Oster's Classic 76 Whisper-Quiet pivot motor is 2x more powerful than a magnetic motor clipper.  It has a fast feed adjustable clipper and contains a medium size adjustable blade.  Plus, it's quick and easy to use.

I've had many people tell me this is their number 1 clipper!  Yes, it's more expensive, but it lasts forever!!  Many barbers use this clipper and swear by it.
